Try this prep hack to make mornings easier

I know I’m not alone when I say mornings can be HECTIC. Showers, nappies, getting dressed, breakfast and starting work for the day. It’s a lot for me and I only have one child.

We hear a lot about the power of meal prep for lunch and dinners, but what about our breakfast?


Recently my little lady has developed a love for smoothies, and while I’m not complaining about her loving a nutritious start to her day, it’s time-consuming.






So I’ve started prepping her morning smoothies on a Sunday. I’ll wash and cut up all the fruit, bag them with the other ingredients and chuck them in the freezer. Then all that’s left to do each morning is blend them with our milk of choice.

Day 1:


½ banana

5 x blueberries

Day 4:


½ banana

4 x strawberries


Day 5:


4 x blueberries 4 x raspberries

Dash of Cinnamon
