Planning an Australian adventure? Here's where to go...

I don't know about you, but my mind often wanders off to my next holiday destination. I catch myself day dreaming (when I should be working!) of jumping on a plane and exploring a new part of the world.

If you're also like me, your goal this year was to make more time for yourself.

And what better way to do that than taking a full relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of normal life? Domestic trips are often cheaper and easier to plan, so here's some places in our own backyard that'll give you the holidays feels you deserve.

The Glorious Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is simply stunning. Bursting with exciting things for you to do, it’s worth staying nearby the hottest attractions in a beautiful apartment right by Broadbeach. Look online for more about the array of Gold Coast properties available to you; many of them include amazing packages including theme park passes, cycling and boat rides. It really starts to warm up in September on the Gold Coast which makes it a perfect place to visit if you're wanting to cut your Winter short!

Byron Bay

If you're a sun seeker hoping to catch a tan on a white sandy beach, look no further than Byron Bay. The vast coastline is truly extraordinary; staring at it for hours might just become one of your favourite pastimes. If you’re feeling a little energetic then you could embark upon a fun pony ride or even take some surfing lessons.

Staying at Elements of Byron is definitely on my bucket list.

Whitsunday Islands

Another must-do adventure on your Australia bucket list should be the stunning Whitsunday Islands. You only have to see a picture to know why...

The combination of crystal clear oceans and leafy green surroundings is second to none. Hire a snorkel and an instructor for the perfect afternoon under the sea. Explore the exquisite marine life in the beautiful oceans and don’t forget your waterproof camera for the memories.

Adelaide

Wine lovers can look no further than the amazing Adelaide; one of the most ancient wine regions will truly take your breath away. If you want to absorb a new culture and learn about part of Australia's history, this is the place for you to pay a visit. If this isn’t quite your cup of tea, you might be more interested in the local wildlife and want to learn more about the local critters. Whether you want to visit the newborn meerkat pups in Adelaide zoo or simply bird watch in the beautiful open gardens the awesome Adelaide has so much to offer you.

Barossa Valley in Adelaide is also a very famous wine region if you're partial to a glass or five.

Whether you are soaking in the beauty of Broadbeach or paying a visit to the wonderful Whitsunday Islands, you're bound to find peace and solace in amazing this beautiful country. It is the perfect place to relax, meet new people and escape from reality for just a short while.
